Delete your account
The Good Scroll · Community lists
How to request deletion
The Good Scroll creates an anonymous account on your device so you can save and publish community lists. It has no email, password, or name. To delete it and everything tied to it:
- Email jaredgoodscroll@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my Good Scroll account”.
- Include the username you claimed in the app, so we can find your account.
- We’ll delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm.
You don’t need to email us to remove a list: you can unpublish or delete any list you’ve published from inside the app at any time, which removes it from our servers.
What gets deleted
- Your anonymous account and your username
- Lists you’ve published (name, icon, color, and verse references)
- Lists you’ve saved, and reports you’ve filed
- The link between your account and your device’s install ID
What we keep
- Anonymous app analytics (only collected if you allowed it) aren’t linked to your account. You can turn analytics off any time in the app’s side menu under Settings → Analytics.
- Total save counts on other people’s lists may still include saves you made before deletion.
- Rate-limit records (which can include your IP address) are deleted automatically within 2 days.
